About Me

Mikaeel is an Eagle Scout from ADAMS Mosque Scouts in the United States. He has volunteered for 15 years in Interfaith work, civil rights work, civic engagement, and community service with ADAMS Scouting, Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington, Loudoun NAACP, Loudoun Freedom Center, and more. His Eagle Scout project led many volunteers to build a 400 Foot Journey to Freedom Trail for the African American Burial Ground for the Enslaved at Belmont (Loudoun Freedom Center). He was recognized by The World Organization of the Scout Movement with the 2018 Messengers of Peace Heroes Award and by the Virginia General Assembly (House/Senate) Joint Resolution NO. 759 for his community service.
